I am a licensed social worker at Sound, the parent company of Sound Solutions, where I now work. I have been with the organization since 2006, providing services in many areas including therapy, case management, crisis and assessment. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialty in clinical social work from the University of Washington in 2006 and completed internships at Harborview Medical Center and Sound.
In my current position, I provide individual therapy for adults. My areas of focus include trauma, depression, anxiety, life transition and identity issues. I help people to identify what is blocking them from being present and experiencing joy in their lives. By working on these obstacles through the therapy process, people find more peace and space for realizing more of their potential.
I utilize different types of therapy depending on the individual client’s needs such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)
